Lampwork I: Intro to Lampwork (Level: 1 Beginner I)
Discover the wonders of glass! Melt Moretti glass rods with a torch to create your own beads with simple surface decorations. Basic skills are demonstrated by the instructor and then practiced by the students. Learn how to pull stringer, and how to use dots and stripes to decorate your beads. Feathering and raking techniques are practiced. Landscape beads are also made in class. Individual attention and guidance is given to each student. Also, learn the best way for you to construct your own studio! Safety procedures discussed as well.

Learn the basic proper techniques to cut glass and fire glass! Make pendants and cabochons.

Glass Bead Making 102- (Level: 1 Beginner II – 4 Hrs. – plus tool & materials fee) plus mapp gas
New surface decorations and new bead shapes. Expand your Beginner 1 bead-making knowledge by making and using twisties to decorate your beads. Basic skills and safety are reviewed, while new skills and techniques are demonstrated by the instructor. Students have time to practice the new techniques in class, with the instructor giving personal attention to each student.
