Beautiful Egg Shaped Kaleidoscope.  Make a clever wooden kaleidoscope that has an internal “magic” chamber or a colorful external oil wand.  Students learn about various types of kaleidoscopes, basic mirror configurations, and the construction techniques needed to make their very own “magic” egg.

Brass Kaleidoscope (Level: II  Beginner – 4 Hrs. ) plus supplies
A Basic and Simple Design. This kaleidoscope has a brass body with an internal chamber of “magic”. In this class the student builds on information acquired in the Beginner I class. New construction techniques are learned as the student experiences working in metal. This class is a great foundation for making the small necklace kaleidoscopes.

Brass Kaleidoscope with Wheel - (Level: II  Beginner – 4 Hrs. ) plus supplies
Create a beautiful Kaleidoscope.  Learn how to make a beautiful 8-inch spiral, brass-tube kaleidoscope with an externally attached wheel.  Emphasis is on first-rate construction of the interior, and creating attractive aesthetics on the exterior of the kaleidoscope. Soldering experience helpful.

Stained Glass Kaleidoscope with Wheel – Workshop (Level: II Beginner – 4 Hrs.) plus supplies
Should have some experience in working with foil method used in stained glass constructions. New kaleidoscope construction techniques are learned as the student experiences working in stained glass. Emphasis is on high-quality construction of the interior mirror system and creating attractive aesthetics on the exterior of the kaleidoscope.
